Slide My Way’s classic hard-edged rock sound balanced with ripping guitar leads and catchy pop-rock choruses is quickly earning them a reputation as one of Geelong’s most exciting acts on the Victorian music scene.
Drawing on shared influences of legends like Oasis, Foo Fighters, The Angels, AC/DC, Nickelback, Blink 182, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Kiss and Jet (just to name a few!) the band is quickly gaining recognition for their exciting performances on stage. Their collective music talent, charisma and individual geniuses ensure iconic covers have crowds jumping and their indie-pop-rock originals drive audiences yelling for more.
The band is led by the formidable song writing duo of Marius Hurley-Paul (vocals/guitar) and Joseph Finnigan (vocals/lead guitar) and fearsomely matched by the mighty drumming talent of Granger Woolley and their new thumping bassist (and vocals) Robbie Demo.
Together they’re wanting to bring back pub rock live performances to Geelong and surrounding areas but also to make an impressionable mark on Melbourne rock music lovers of live bands.
